The promotion of young talent is of great strategic significance to PROPLANT Wolfsburg GmbH. That's why PROPLANT is working together with Siemens and Volkswagen AG on the "Förderpreis Digitale Fabrik" which the three companies support collectively. In January 2012, the "Förderpreis Digitale Fabrik" was awarded for the first time for outstanding work. Students at the Ostfalia University of Applied Sciences in Wolfenbüttel were eligible to take part, as were those at the Technical Universities in Clausthal and Brunswick. "The prize is awarded for outstanding scientific work relating to problems faced during digital production planning and therefore contributes to an increase in regional competitiveness in this area," explains Markus Schick, commercial director of PROPLANT Wolfsburg GmbH.
