PROPLANT goes American!

The United States remains one of the most important key markets in the global automobile industry, accounting for roughly 25% of overall demand worldwide. In the Southeast especially numerous Asian and European automobile manufacturers have opened production plants in the last few years, including BMW (Spartanburg, SC), Mercedes-Benz (Tuscaloosa, AL), and most recently, Volkswagen (Chattanooga, TN) - three of Proplant's largest customers.

Therefore the decision to establish a U.S. subsidiary was an easy one. Proplant, Inc., based out of Atlanta, GA, is ideally located to offer these manufacturers and their suppliers the most effective and efficient service possible. "By establishing a presence in the U.S. we have taken yet another critical step toward our goal of internationalization," declares Markus Schick, CFO of Proplant, Inc.

Situated at the heart of the Southern Automotive Corridor, Atlanta offers an excellent infrastructure and incentives for automotive manufacturers.
